Return & Refund Policy

We want you to be happy with your purchase. If something isn't right, you can request a return within 30 days of receiving your order, subject to the terms below.

1. 30-Day Returns

For returns under our 30-day return policy, items should:

  • Be unused and in the same condition in which they were received.

  • Include the original packaging, parts and accessories where applicable.

  • Include your order number or order details.

This 30-day return policy does not affect your statutory rights under applicable UK consumer law.

2. How to Request a Return

To request a return, email info@smpcontractors.co.uk with your order number, the item you wish to return and the reason for the return.

We will provide the return instructions and return address.

Please contact us before sending an item back.

Returns are normally made by post.

3. Return Shipping Costs

Faulty, damaged or incorrect items:
If you receive a faulty, damaged or incorrect item, please contact us as soon as possible. Where the issue is confirmed, SMP Contractors Ltd will cover the reasonable cost of returning the item.

Change-of-mind returns:
For returns under our voluntary 30-day policy because you have changed your mind, you are responsible for the return postage costs.

4. Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will confirm the outcome by email.

Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method and will normally be processed within 10 days of receiving the returned item.

Your bank or payment provider may take additional time to make the refunded amount available.

5. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Items

If your item arrives faulty, damaged or incorrect, please contact us at info@smpcontractors.co.uk with your order number and, where appropriate, photographs of the issue.

Depending on the circumstances, we may arrange a replacement or refund.

6. Exchanges

We do not normally offer direct exchanges. If you require a different product, you can return the original item where eligible and place a new order.

7. Your Statutory Rights

This policy does not affect your statutory rights under applicable UK consumer law.
